Eagles Win Northumberland Tourney!
"What an extraordinary group of young men with whom we coaches are priviledged to work. In response to our worst shellacking in years, they simply put on their hard hats and took care of business. We rolled over Middlesex 66-12, Lancaster 60-21, Norfolk Academy 42-36, and King William 51-30 to get to the very exciting finals match versus Nottoway, which we pulled out 44-36 on some incredible heroics from Raymond Johnson, who earned the team victory with a 2nd period pin over a very game and determined opponent" Head Coach David Wilkerson.

The W&L Wrestlers earned an overwhelming victory in Montross Thursday February 2nd to claim another Northern Neck District Championship! 7 Eagle grapplers won individual weight-class championships: (106)Raskey DeJesus, (113)Moses Oveido, (126)Brandon Deel, (145)Sam McGill, (152)Michael Clayton, (170)Jesse Garcia, (285)Raymond Johnson. The Eagles will battle next weekend at Mathews for Region "A" bragging rights and trips to the State Tournament on the line!
